Did you ask the manager if black gloves are worn in the kitchen? I would of went right to the kitchen. Now with covid , food prep workers do wear clear and black gloves. What probably happened is someone was taking gloves out of the box and the extra one fell into the salad. and accidently got mixed in. And probably didn't notice it because they scoop out the salad.

Michael Jackson has been missing a glove.

It IS sarcasm! I confess. I have been caught red (rubber glove) handed.

Reparations ??? Oh please, gimme a friggin break !!

They didn’t charge for the meal. What do you expect from them, a 5 day trip to the Bahamas ????

Sure, an apology from the manager would have been nice but this whole incident is not the end of the world !!!

OK....so it was a glove. At least it wasn't a pube.

But , did they carefully inspect the glove for any additional “attachments” ?? :a040:

A quick update on Glenview situation

The owner of the operation read this criticism and contacted us. He was very apologetic, told us he called a meeting of all his managers to review procedures. He offered us a generous gift certificate and wants to meet us when we pick it up. He acted exactly as he should have, and we are now satisfied. Just FYI, no illness or other issues that have been brought up in this chain.

Nonsense.

One makes an accusation which can damage a person or business, then claim you have photographic evidence, then fail to post your evidence or even once defend your comment.

Just keep your mouth shut if you are not willing to back it up. Perhaps Glenview can actually track this guy down. If no evidence of his claim can be produced I hope Glenview can get awarded damages.

The OP was asked to produce the photo of his damaging claim yesterday, not this morning. This is all defamatory hearsay at present. The accuser must prove his claim. He chooses to air it here but then disappears and hides his "evidence". More conspiracy theories????

This is a forum for entertainment - not a court of law. I a person goes out to eat at a restaurant about 2,000 times in their lifetime they can, just about, expect that they will find something untoward in their food. It happens - why pretend that it does not? Even if you prepare your own food, you could get something in your food that accidentally fell there at a processing factory. It happens all the time.

And..... the issue has been resolved according to the OP..... They are not going to post anything and ruin their chances of getting more free stuff....:icon_wink:

I told everyone before that the manager is horrible but the owner really cares.

Skip the manager from now on. He must be a brother in law or cousin or something.

With this, I think it's a good place to close this thread.
