Default Legacy

Had dinner at legacy and was not pleased. Had the 6oz fillet with mash potato and broccolini. The 1st fillet was uncutable, the second was small and very low quality, mash potato tasted like potato and milk only and the broccolini was so tough you could not eat it. Management compted a free dinner, second time at legacy and disappointed twice, low quality for such an expensive place. My wife loved her grouper and lobster on Parmigiano rotolini.

Second post bashing one of the best restaurants in the Villages. Half of the party loved their meal. Agenda anyone or just typical. Meant to bring out responses (ok here I am) and to be expected.

Legacy is good the best choice in the Villages, again I mean good and only in the Villages. That being said not much here as far as quality dining. Ocala has two maybe three.
Orlando, Tampa, Miami are not for nightly dinner. Not looking for your suggestions just stating.

Look at it this way, you were due. Some times you get good meals, other times so-so, and at times it’s downright awful. We went there and thought it was great although we didn’t have what you had. Get over it, go back and try something else.

We’re you expecting 5 star?

Go at least 4 or 5 times a month ,I’ve never had a bad meal and I’ve never had bad service ,they run the place very well . I’ve been there on very busy days and still get seated very close to reservation time

You were expecting something different?

You must be new to The Villages and haven't yet had your expectations beaten into submission yet, by the lack of decent food and service at TV restaurants.

I'd suggest going to Ocala to get a decent meal, but even that's not a sure thing.

Yeah, you have to try different dishes when eating out in the Villages. Most entrees are mediocre at best. But, when you find that special dish, you will want to return. Soon, you will have a list of favorites and only order that one dish in each restaurant.

I have found ordering steak in any of the Villages' restaurants is not a good choice. Tip: Look at the plates of other diners before ordering. This way, you will know ahead of time what you will be served.

Usually, you will receive a nice meal at the Leg.
(it's all relative)

If the Leg is close, don't give up.

Do a Date Night.............pick up you wife at the bar and have dinner together.

You received a number of the responses you expected and wanted. One post, one complaint. Beautiful. Pick one of the best Villages restaurants and let it go...
