Good to know. I'll have to try them.

haha! No! This was back in 1971 when I was only 7yrs old in Northern Maine. Speaking of Covid, my wife and I wanted to travel to FL this Oct to visit my folks in SSprings, but with all the anti-masking going on, we didn't feel safe traveling. We are both vaccinated; we're going to wait for things to calm down a bit, perhaps in 2022 we'll come for a visit.

Be safe FL!

NBC Toledo

As a volunteer this year at the Marathon Classic outside Toledo, NBC provided minis in the Vol Tent. They were a big hit, PLUS we received 2 for 1 coupons! I immediately found their bakery and purchased several. Red Velvet was a hit, the GF chocolate chip was appreciated, the lemon raspberry yummy, but the pumpkin spice was a bit dry. GLAD they're coming to The V.:icon_wink:

I make the small Bundt cakes last a few days because of the richness. They are a treat and loved by my family. The flavors are all awesome, some flavors liked more than others, of course. They also have a gluten free cake. They have a punch card for free Bundt after so many purchased and they freeze well. I’m happy to have one nearby when I want that treat.

Delicious! Makes a nice gift or surprise treat , not an everyday item.

Would love to get your opinion on what their Nothing Bundt Cakes are like when they open up in Lady Lake. The Villages Daily Sun had a October 2, 2021 opening estimated today in their Construction Coverage.

They are fantastic! I was introduced to them at a huge craft fair in Kansas City, MO many years ago. I would drive to Overland Park, KS to get buy a small individual cake or two. When they finally came north of the river in KCMO, everyone was thrilled. They are so good. You will love them!!!!

I have been looking at their website to see when exactly they will be opening here in the Villages.

I am in Omaha during the summer. Everything I’ve had here has been exceptional. Looking forward to our new one in TV.

Well I went there today to check it out but it’s closed on Sunday. Guess I’ll try again later.

ChathamGirl 10-03-2021 03:13 PM

Well $4.50 is about standard. A dessert in a fine restaurant would cost at least that if not more.
