Decor at PF Chang’s is the Terra-cotta Warriors of China, including horses. No dragon statues were buried at the site. In MI one has 2 horses out side, one only has 1 horse, and the new one has no statues out side due to lack of space

So, if the rumor is true, Brownwood will continue to be a western ghost town.

And let's leave it that way so it can be enjoyed....although I assume that will change when the below 44 folks have access.

Here is an email quote from Kelly Gould, who is a public relations representative for P.F. Chang's:

"You are correct in that we do not currently have plans to open in The Villages. I believe P.F. Chang’s looked at The Villages at one point – but right now, we do not have plans to open a restaurant there."

That is unfortunate. I think they would have been a perfect fit there. But thanks for the update.

Confirms what I just got from Guest Relations. Really sad. I suspect lease negotiations did not work out.

Panera bread would be great in that location.

Panera food has gone down hill and increased the prices.

I would really like a non chain restaurant with freshly prepared food.. If they could clone Chop House it would be a great addition.

All I know is Brownwood needs SOMETHING good in that spot. Maybe a BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse!
