Loved the food at OB but hated the stale smell and sticky tables. The restaurant needed to be freshened up several years ago. It's too bad that the renovation only happens when the lease is not renewed. Good luck to Chip, and all the workers that kept OB going.

The comedian Dennis Miller once made an observation about the issue of "taking sides". He said, "I think you're OK, but I'm not so sure about that tribe across the river". Taking sides is a ritual as old as civilization. Happily, people can choose to overcome differences and are culturally richer for it. Sadly, some never do.

....the restaurant will be refurbished which will cost a lot of money. And even if it wasn't refurbished, rents tend to go up over long periods of time. But time, together with the refurbishing, will likely bring a hefty increase in the rent. So, diners, hold on to your hats when you see the new menu prices.
