Those attending were insurance people and we joked that not one person made a claim against the restaurant.

My friends who stayed at my home nd my wife and me had the soup.

You would be surprised at the number of people who are not even aware that the cause of their illness came from food/drink. In our situation there were so many of us who knew one another comparisons/conversation about illness was available and that is not always the case in these cases

Personal Best Regards

If that many got sick, then maybe it was food poisoning. My problem is when 1 person said they got sick somewhere and then bash a restaurant to everyone for the restaurant giving them food poisoning.

Just wanted to say that I had the pulled pork at Codys last night. It was delicious !!

I just went to the inspectors site and Cody's had the highest violations. Just saying

rn1tv 08-31-2014 03:48 PM

Bonny, you say that you have been in Cody's kitchen. I would certainly think that, you as a customer, being in the kitchen is a violation. Kitchens should not be open to "the public." In my opinion, if allowing customers into Cody's kitchen is allowed, I will mark it off my list!

Mark it off, please. That leaves another space for me! Cody's is a great place to have a couple of ice cold Stellas and a bar burger after golf. Can't get too much better.

Thanks sweetie. I try not to say anything unless I have talked the person who is in the know.

Don't get me wrong I have high regards and respect for heath inspections.
In our society the slightest infractions makes for great media drama.
Read the whole report before passing judgement on any establishment

Sounds like we were at the same party....I sat on the floor hugging my new "friend" the toilet for several hours. We think it was our salads.. Restaurant could not come up with an answer...

Use to work maintenance at a resort in the keys (Hawks Cay) and every month we would go in strip the main kitchen of everything that would move pressure wash the entire place and then put it back together. It can be done management is to fault. up here I have had a health inspector tell me that the dirties kitchen by far is the one you have at home.

restaurant bathrooms

I have always believed if a restaurant has a dirty bathroom, the kitchen is likely maintained the same way. PU:mmmm:

Marshabk 10-09-2014 03:19 PM

Interesting. I thought MY kitchen was clean because I work at keeping it that way.
I'd still like to have a URL to see Health Dept restaurant inspection ratings.
Would also love to know exactly what they rate them on.

Marshabk 10-09-2014 03:22 PM

That URL opened to a blank page.

In NC inspections are by surprise and regular and the results MUST be posted in view of all customers. Loved eating at the ones ith A+ ratings but would walk back out if I saw a C. Anything lower than a C would be closed down until the infraction(s) were corrected. I would like to see a similar system in Florida.
