I've been there twice. I also think 5 Guys & Glenview burgers are at least as good or better and cheaper. Very limited menu so you better like picking one of a dozen (or more) kinds of hamburgers. BTW I tried the Kobe hamburger ($14) and had to send it back since I ordered it Med and it came our red inside. They did replace it right away and but I wasn't impressed and couldn't tell that much difference between it and the All American burger I had the next visit. But to be honest its probably a real bargain when you consider what a kobe steak cost. Wait at lunch was long to get seated then even longer to get our burgers > if your in a hurry go to 5 guys. I did like the atmosphere, its neat and clearly upscale over McD and 5 Guys but not Glenview. Onion rings on special are very good for only $3 but you will need 4 people for them.

Personal taste is everything. We wouldn't go back to Five guys if it was free. Greasiest burger I've ever had, but the fries are good. Went to Square One and loved it and are more than willing to pay the price for a good meal. Have dropped $15.00 on crappy meals plenty of times so this is a winner for us. Same goes for WOB, more than willing to pay for quality.

I was just reading a news article about "Kobe" burgers. True Kobe beef only comes from Kobe, Japan. The article said unless you are paying around $10 per ounce for that burger, it is not Kobe beef. American farmers crossbreed Wagyu cattle with Angus cattle and it is good beef but does not have the same quality as true Kobe beef.

I have had the American Kobe burgers and they are delicious. Someday, I would love to have a true Kobe steak.

He proceeded to write corporate an e- mail- they responded by sending him a lousy $ 40 gift certificate! His meal that day cost $24. I will not frequent such a poorly run restaurant!

Were they supposed to offer a settlement of $100,000 because some guy fell on his butt?

Amen! Hubby and I went yesterday for lunch. Servings were more than ample and the burgers were delicious (infinitely better than 5 Guys - at the very least your burger is cooked the way you want - not the way THEY want!). A little pricey, perhaps, but we'll be back soon. We felt it was worth it.

Went tonight, great service, really good food. Anything special, not really, but will go back.

Don't quite get all these gripes about the burgers at Square 1 being too "pricey".
Went to Disney Saturday to see Chubby Checker. Stopped at TGIF for a quick lunch outside the park. And guess what they charge for their signature bourbon barbeque burger? Yep, 10 bucks. Other burgers ranged from 9 to 11 dollars. Not that much different from Square One, I'd say.

Over-paying for hamburger meat is certainly an option...

We went to this restaurant. We liked the burger. We thought it was a tad be expensive for us as we are on a budget. The O-rings on Wednesday are only $3 and they were an ample serving, in fact, we left a few...odd for us.
In my opinion, I favor the burger at Hemingways, as it's the best I've had in years!
