What do you prefer? I’ve been a Hellman’s user all my life and I just bought my first jug of Dukes. Just thought I’d give it a try (haven’t yet). I grew up with Hellmans and have never used anything else. Are there significant differences?
Wife grew up with Miracle Whip. Thanks for any replies! |

On the west coast, Hellmans is Best Foods Real Mayonnaise. So, my preference is Hellmans. Have had both and Dukes is fine.
Miracle Whip, imho, the miracle is that they are still in business. Like non-dairy whipped topping pretending to be whipped cream, just doesn't taste good. Again, imho. |

If you have a preference, Dukes does not have bioengineered ingredients like Hellman's does.

I agree. I tried Duke's after the constant TV commercials, but never saw the draw.

Please explain. Both products contain "calcium disodium EDTA", which is the only ingredient that I don't recognize. Which ingredient in Hellmann's is bioengineered?

I also prefer Hellman's. I find Dukes to be more eggy (Is that a word?) Miracle Whip is not mayonnaise.

I find Aldi's own brand mayo just as good.
In fact, I find many of Aldi's own products as good as, and in some cases better than the big brand names, and a whole lot cheaper. |

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. But you can get stuff the other mkts don't have. And I agree that Aldi is a money saver.

Hellmann's for life. Duke's if Hellmann's isn't available and I can't wait for some reason. We'll just do without tuna salad if the only option was Miracle Whip.

There was a poll taken last year by the Raleigh News & Observer.
Duke's was the clear winner. Duke's 61% Hellmann's 21% Kraft 7% Miracle Whip 5% Kewpie??? 3% Heinz??? 0% https://www.newsobserver.com/living/...278534189.html |
