Default Restless leg syndrome

Does anybody have info they'd like to share? I've had Restless Leg Syndrome all my life but nothing like this. I moved to in August 2025 and for the 2 wks I've been here it has been off the charts. I thought it may be just me but my son moved here also and he is having the same problem. I won't live long with this servility; other than this I'm 100% healthy. If you are having problems please respond.

Have you had your magnesium level checked? It is not a routine blood test, but it is a simple test that can be ordered. Since I started taking a magnesium supplement (and potassium) I have had no leg cramps.

You need to keep hydrated. Florida weather can drain you. Drink a tall glass of water with every meal. Avoid alcohol and caffeine for awhile. I have muscle cramps in my legs once in awhile. When I drink more water, the symptoms go away.

Wife on Requip for RLS...side effects warn of sudden "urge to gamble"....no, serious. Never happened, only caused occasional nausea. I always wanted to find the medicine for her that had the sudden urge to paint the house or cut the yard.
