I find it strange for him to say he "became single" and people assume his spouse died. I think it's more along the line of his girlfriend left him. If, indeed, his spouse did die, then looking to hook up a few weeks afterwards, is disrespectful

It has been kind of tough to meet potential dating partners since the pandemic started but things are opening up.

May there be a supermodel in your future who loves to cook gourmet meals, clean house, do your laundry and loves sex. Oh well, a guy can dream...

I agree with you. OK I'll try this for the last time. It was not me that sent this thread in the "loss" direction. Actually if you read the sequence of posts you will realize I was trying to stop it as the train was in the process of derailing. It was post number 2 that opened up the "loss". Look at post 21 and see if it looks like a clean up in aisle five was being attempted.

My guess is, whenever you become single and you look for a new interest, it sounds like you lost something. If nothing else it is a change. Hopefully it will be for the better.
