Not sure that is where Mali is.

I take a good number of FunTrivia quizzes on African geography and history but still have problems with many of these countries' locations unless I have had a Facebook or FunTrivia contact who lives in one of them.

I can I’ve been there. Beautiful country.

North of Zimbabwe, next to Zambia!

My kids were in town a few weeks ago and I joined them watching this video. I was shocked at just how poorly I did.

Not me. I can locate the 50 US states and the Canadian provinces and territories.

For the rest, I’m happy to put them in the right continents.

If you had a map of Africa, with the country borders marked out but no names, I would think 99% of Americans could not pick 10 of the 54 countries.

Not sure how many Americans could identify the 50 states of the USA? Or their capitals. Never mind countries on another continent.

Right next to Zimbabwe just got back from Africa.

Easy, no problem (of course I’m leaving in 3 weeks to go there on safari)

It is winter there don’t need to worry about mosquitoes and all those diseases they cause. The water and ice was safe at the hotels in the cities also.

I can. I can even tell you its principal products, form of government, discuss its people groups and weather, and recommend some good detective novels set there. It’s just the sort of thing an educated person should know. But I’ve lived in Africa, and I don’t want to go back, anywhere. Flying there is not fun, nor quick.

I think that number is inversely proportional to age :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

Light green above South Africa. Gabarone is capital and the Seat of SADC.

I could probably pick out about 45 of them, as well as most countries in the rest of the world. I would have some problem with West Africa, as well as some of the former Soviet bloc nations. But then again, if it ends in -stan, I couldn't care less about it.:1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

I am going to take an educated guess and say - 4. Thanks for asking.
