Scottie scheffler throws club, tennis stars beating their racket to death, football players throwing bunches, and yet some of our stars shine, like Rickie Fowler, and Jordan Spieth. Seems that the millions sports stars make would help improve their attitude!

Very simple to answer: The General Public put these people on pedistal, Movie Stars, Sports Stars etc.etc. What happens is these people become " Special " in a very, very Special Way they honestly believe it, why?

Because the Adoring Public put them there. In reality they are Very " Boring & Clueless ".

Missed putt or easy volley could cost you thousands. (example Andy Rodrick missed easy volley against Roger Federer to win US open, he never got another match point but Andy didn’t throw no tantrum) Plus top stars don’t pay for equipment, they get paid to play with equipment so it’s nothing to them Most are spoiled brats anyway that never had work day and some can’t take heat or competition on certain days when things don’t go right and snowballs.

Not sure if that applies to many sports . They work incredibly hard to keep in top shape.

Rickie Fowler and Jordan Spieth are not good examples to cite. Both have thrown tantrums on the golf course. Google it.

Very few never thrown fit on camera? Back in day growing up Borg was one of worst until he got coach that wouldn’t put up with it and changed his demeanor. On tour he was called iceman he had no expression from good point or bad one. For some pressure too great and they explode?

I’ve known several Average Joes who throw nasty tantrums when they are playing sports. Bad behavior isn’t exclusive to the “BIGS.”
The only difference is that they are on TV.

Personally I can understand some of that behavior. Pro or not, their job can be so intensive and their income depends on their success. So many 'game of inches' etc. Putts miss by 1/4", bad call by umpires, Noises on the tennis court. And of course injuries and such. A few of those and one's career suffers or is over. All that practice, all those workouts. So I tend to give them a break most times. So intense esp at the highest levels. So few excel.

Working out and working hard are two different things. I would love to have spent my time working out to stay in shape for big money.

I was told once that we average Joes are not good enough to get mad!

I don't give them a break. All the players in the games have the same situation at one point of another and only a few juvenile types, acting poorly, take the time to act out for the audience. A great golfer comes to mind... Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus always emphasized that any display of anger, like breaking a club, should be reserved for the locker room after a round, not on the course. Class, integrity are getting harder to come by now.
