Some Kind of Heaven movie review (2021) | Roger Ebert

Ebert's reviews are pretty good, considering he's dead guy.

You can watch it cheaper on Amazon. My recommendation ... save your money

This movie is streaming for $6.99-$7.99 depending on which service you want to pay for it on. It was a terrible depiction of The Villages and the producer prayed on a woman in depression who lost her husband recently, a drug abuser with a spouse who was the enabler, and a loser who lived in his van looking to find a rich "chick" he could move in with. Total waste of money and time. Interestingly enough, the man living in his van has allegedly been spotted entertaining in The Villages and may actually own a house here. The whole thing was a made up piece of trash in my humble opinion, created to make a few bucks for the producer. Save your money.

My husband and I saw it with other family members before we moved to TV. The characters and lifestyle portrayed were pretty pathetic, even laughable at times. We moved here nonetheless and are thankfully finding a totally different reality from the film.

Proof positive that people worrying about someone choosing to/not to live in the Villages based off a movie about a singular handful of people in a community of over 100,000 had nothing to worry about.

I believe the movie portrayed that life in the villages. That its not some type of utopic of the great life. People still have problems. You have the wife dealing with the crazy off the wall husband. The woman who's husband dies and appear to be struggling financially , being alone and adjusting being single. The homeless van guy I am not sure how he fits in with the villages. Maybe he thought there a lot of old rich single women looking for someone like him. If he was a real person living in his van, how was he getting away with using recreation facilities without community watch after him?. He should watch the movie Nomad

I meant to say in my first line is that life in the villages are not as perfect as people think.

Gene Shalit was the guy with the big bushy moustache. He's 95 years old...

Gene Siskel was with Ebert. Both of them are dead...
