Default Ripley - Yea or Nay

Ripley is an 8-episode Netflix miniseries released in 2024. In 1961, Tom Ripley is a down-at-the-heels con-man. Unaware of his situation, a wealthy man hires him to convince his prodigal son to return home from Italy.

I liked it and thought it was brilliant. Although my wife gave up on it after two episodes. A couple friends hated it and quit after one.

It shows many of Italy's famous sites, which may be one reason for my thumbs up.

Each episode, I can truly say, I didn't know what was going to happen next.

Direction and screen play by Steven Zaillian, he of Schindler's list fame. He also won two 2024 Emmys for it.

Ok, I liked it, my wife didn't. What say you?

We watched the first one this am. The best part was the 10-15 minutes I slept thru.

Wife has no interest in watching anymore. Sorry
