Default Palm tree stump grinding verses using stump killer chemical

Had 6 queen palms cut down am now trying to decided stump grinding or stump killing chemical. Any had experience with these methods?

I had a three palms cut down and grinding was going to be pricey.
Instead, I drilled some holes into the palm stump and poured some epsom salts into the holes.
It took a couple years, but these stumps were not in a highly visible area and my wife put flower pots on 'em.
About two years later, the stumps were dissolved enough that I was able to simply chop the soft wood with an axe.

Epsom salts , obviously , are salts and bad for growing things. Just get it on the stump and into the holes.
Don't get it all over your landscaping.

A neighbor had his frondless queen palm carved into a totem pole

Sounds like your stumps might be too small for that
