Default Brined Turkeys at Trader Joe’s

The flock of Fresh turkeys this year Organic, ($3.99) All Natural Brined,($2.99) and Certified Glatt Kosher ($3.49)

For those who want to try a brine turkey, but without the giant pot in your refrigerator here is your opportunity. Every year Trader Joe’s offers whole Brine, this year, a half turkey breast.

As always their Certified Kosher are available for those, choose to have zero additives, preservatives or observing for the holiday.

I have since a child used 150 years of recipes from Southern and Native family. Over the years came up with different herbs, citrus, and Infused Salt combinations. In the north we could brine in giant pot in the garage, in an ice bath, or Snow.
In TV not so much, temp is too volatile and fridge space is a premium.

Travel every 3-4 weeks to Gainesville, for appointments, TJ’s, WF is on my way back. Either way before FT here I drove over a 2 hour round trip depending on traffic, to commissary, Costco, Sam’s Club, WF, Trader Joe’s in that order. Once a month.

Friend is driving to TJ’s next week to pick up preorder 21 turkeys for neighbors. Neighborhood collects gas money, with enough to enjoy a great lunch.

Never to far to acquire food without phosphate, nitrate, and Kosher.
