2009 Old Vine Zinfandel

92 pts Wine Spectator. Beautiful nose of crushed rose petals and red raspberry. Flavors of ripe black cherry, raspberry and spiced fruit with tones of French oak.

Runs about $35 a bottle retail, but well worth the price.

Kentucky Blue. I know Oregon produces good Pinot Noir. I would ask how much might Domaine Serene be. If the price is high then I would prefer getting a bottle of Burgandy. Will it be within $15-20 range? If so, I'll try it.

Domaine Serene starts in the $40 range,but a really good Pinot Noir from Oregon, in the $20 range, is Argyle.Kosta Browne is another top of the line Pinot,but very pricey.It's great for a special occasion,like buying your first home in TV or having your "significant other" actually admit she was wrong:) :wine:

Where can we find Gewürztraminer and Cabernet Franc wines to purchase around here? We have not been successful finding these.

ABC sell a wine called, "The Ball Buster". A combination of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from Barossa Valley.

On the back of the bottle, it reads. I wanted to name this wine, "Michelle' Block", after my wife.But that conjures up vision's of a soft and elegant sort of wine and trust me mates, this little beauty is nothing like that. She's broad shouldered, built like a stallion and pack's an intensity of flavor like only the Barossa can deliver. She's what I call, "The Ball Buster" mate, and so is this wine. Enjoy it, cheers!
