Good answer. OP could go to Town Square & take the golf cart bridge across but, why would a non villager want to get into the villages?

Are you listening to yourself? What difference does it make how he enters the Villages? He can drive his car there, spend his $ at a business, avail himself of the entertainment, so why not come in on a golf cart? I am certain the merchants in the area would welcome his business, especially in these trying times.

The historic side gate is really not very effective in stopping people from entering The Villages. From what I understand, they are allowed to cross 27/441 near the entrance of their development. That gives them access to Rio Grande which they are also allowed to cross.
The Historic Side gate only makes it less convenient for them. |
