I have to agree with Bilcon. I take it you don't live on a golf course, otherwise you'd realize how dark it is.

If someone were up to something nefarious, do you think they would approach the well lit, possibly spotted by neighbor or community watch front side, or the very dark course side? Besides, you ARE permitted to walk on the street, you ARE NOT permitted to TRESPASS on the golf course

The championship courses are not support by the amenity fee. They are private property and utilizing them for something other than golf after paying the greens fee is TRESPASSING

Somewhere in the 120+ responses I must have missed where this was referring to only CHAMPIONSHIP COURSES. With a ratio of about 3.5:1 in number (though certainly less than that in miles of path) the odds were pretty good that at least some of the comments referred to Executive courses.

My excursions were definitely onto an Executive course, and only the 2 within walking distance to my home. And I never venture anywhere near a house. I agree totally with not infringing on someone's property, I wouldn't want it done to me.

I don't think you missed anything. I, on the other hand , was just referring to championship courses, so I think you understood this thread perfectly well. I have no idea whether the term trespassing could be used on exec courses since part of the amenity fee does support them. It may still be a "rule", but I doubt someone (as long as they are a Villager) could be charged with criminal trespass like they might on a championship course

That's another falsity that needs to be cleared up. There are no "CART PATHS" unless one is referring to the diamond marked lanes in the streets which in reality even they aren't just "cart paths." The "CART PATHS" are actually MMP's (Multi-Modal-Paths). The problem is the cart drivers often THINK they are just "cart paths!"

The multi-modal paths are for use by NON-AUTOMOTIVE traffic such as bicycles, golf carts, pedestrians, and skaters.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but my point still stands...again, if I was walking at night on the course- no different than others walking on it all day.
Allot of people like to get out at night, enjoy the openness, breath the fresh air. I don't know about you, but if I was walking a course at night I would feel much safer being able to see the full circumference of my surroundings, rather than being on a street where someone could be hiding behind a car.

I doubt anyone that backs up to a course would feel unsafe sitting on their lanai seeing two 65 or older ladies taking a stroll, carrying a lantern at night.
They are only utilizing the venue that they too pay for.

The golf course is NOT your personal property. you only have some small area behind your house. ALL the residents pay taxes and the amenity fees. They should be allowed to use an empty golf course as long as they don't abuse it. They should NOT walk on the greens. A golf course IS a lot of space to waste when not used by golfers. ALL residents have to put up with some of the downsides to golf courses - like excess fertilizer runoff into the TV Land lakes, which causes blur-green algae, which produce an unhealthy gas when too plentiful.

Yes agreed. The amenity fee and sales tax. Even federal tax allows for national defense which protects the golf course from invasion by Russian troops. Bring the AK and the 9 iron comrade? The point is ALL TV Land residents SUPPORT the golf courses in SOME FASHION! Saying, "no trespassing" to residents seems ALL WRONG!
