God help those poor people in SW Florida. I know someone who did not leave his Sanibel Island home. The water is over his first floor and the causeway to the island has come apart. He just cancelled his flood insurance which was $10000 a year. Some people make poor choices. So glad we did not suffer any damage.

Our street is barely wet too. No damage here in Mallory Square. This is the reason we do not wish to live near a coast.

It is nice today to finally get some fresh air in the house. Got a few windows open and letting it flow through

Traffic light at Canal and Odell Circle is no longer attached to pole, and is dangling from its wires. Truck with flashing lights just parked at the scene. Of course it hasn’t slowed down those who are out driving:eek:

Whew, after much concern overnight the neighborhood here looks okay.

My bush survived the night. "We've got bush!" :duck:

Our bird fell down and will not get up. Guess I have to go out there.

I watched video of my camera footage last night. 3.5 inches of rain and a few wind gusts. Big nothing

Terrible news. Looks like your friend is lucky to be alive. Hope person can absorb such a large loss.

We had 37 leaves exit the property. The wife is devastated.

The people down south is who we need to be worrying about.

I am sad to report that we lost a pool noodle to the winds last night. God's speed noodle, you served us well.

Just two almond bushes blown over; pulled them back upright, trimmed them down to about 3’ tall, everything great again.

In the Santiago area, lots of the usual palm fronds, Spanish moss, and small branches in the streets and multi-modal paths. El Diablo golf course has at least 6 sink holes on the 2nd and 3rd holes.
