Ha ha! I was just gonna ask that... Are these folks just getting up, or haven't they been to bed yet!:icon_wink:

Like Redwitch there are way too many nights I'm still awake at 3:00am. I was lucky last night and was sleeping at 2. I miss the nights of falling asleep around 11 or midnight. I miss a good nights sleep and waking up feeling refreshed. Feeling fatigued all the time is getting old real fast.

Wow. I thought I was up early at 6 to leave for golf at 6:30.

You guys do know you're retired.

In may area I have the permanent ALARM Clock in my head that wakes me up at 4AM, 3AM your time Soon to be my time. Seems that 46 years of work has brainwashed me into WIDE AWAKE AT 4AM even on days I don't have to work...:ohdear: Geezzz, what a BAD habit. :1rotfl:

Oh, Yeah! Lots of times, but I have found BBC radio on my Ipad and I can listen to BBC America or BBC 4 or BBC 4extra (which is radio shows and comedies to listen to). Very soothing if played very low on headphones ( so as not to bother my husband).

Then back to the recliner, for another hour of sleep.

It's great to be retired, as I need my naps. :D

Hey, that's me to the nines. Love that 5am to 6 am nap.

For us early birds remember there is a difference between I am awake vis a vis I am up. My wife always claims she is up but she doesn't experience it because she is not awake

LOL I know that well? Mine even says to me not to talk until she is into cup number two.

This night owl likes the still of the night.

Oh how I wish I were an early-bird! I go to bed between 3 & 4am and, if landscapers don't wake me up, wake up around 11am to, you know, use the facilities then try to go back to sleep until 1pm. This schedule does not jive with the rest of TV but can't change my body clock. BTW, don't forget to move your clocks ahead tonight before beddy-bye.

Same here. No matter how tired I am during the day, once bedtime arrives, I'm wide awake. I've never liked mornings. I've decided it's my body clock and I'm stuck with it!

redwitch 03-09-2014 03:06 AM

And I rest my case. Tis 3/4 am and I'm wide awake and have been. ugh ugh ugh

asianthree 03-09-2014 03:58 AM
