Anyone that gets upset about seeing a for sale sign needs to talk to a doctor for help.----

They can't tell me what to do.

Very simple question. Is there a hoa rule saying you cannot have a sign temporarily on your cart or car while in the villages area? What if it was parked on your driveway?

HOA and POA have no jurisdiction (at all).

Yes. You are so right and always a calming source of reason. I do so wish that everyone new would go to the work shop provided often to explain how a CDD and The Villages work.

And then I wish they would be happy with how things are.

I agree! One sign in a golf cart that says For Sale, what about all the the team sports banners, the stickers & seeing someones cart all decorated with their favorite team or teams. Besides the only reason I really think their upset with these For Sale signs are because the Villages isn't making the money & it's not cheap to run an add in the THEIR paper. I like it here but all of the Villages is set up for the companies & the handy man that goes around charging everyone an arm & a leg to do anything. The Villages is a paradise for these over priced people to charge these retirees & elderly people. I know the ones that come here & think this is great are the ones that came from parts of the U.S. that had to pay for everything & you know who you are!:bigbow:

Did anyone else examine the Cruise In information ad for Spanish Springs in the Today’s Entertainment section of the Daily Sun?

No “For Sale” signs displayed on vehicles. And, No flame throwing or tire burning. Gee, there goes some of the fun.

Yes. I AM very old.

I do know that if you own the business, you get to make the decisions about how it is run.

I so agree, why must we worry about so petty issues! GEE, time is ticking on our lives, and this is how we waste the time!

Tell that to the baker who wouldn't sell a wedding cake to a gay couple or to Coca-Cola when they tried to introduce New Coke.

You own a business but you still need to answer for your actions.

If it's not illegal, or immoral, if you build that better mousetrap, you get to choose the cheese.

People who have owned businesses and have made some money can tell you that they are never off duty, never really have vacation, reinvest most of what they make and worry a lot. They work 16 hour days, and just about 365 days a year, they have to be on top of workers and contractors and act nice. They never stop being careful with their money either. EVER.

Throughout history, there hasn't been a single tyrant, dictator or despot that didn't/doesn't really appreciate that attitude.
