.

If you actually read my post #55 - it was not simply deleting a POST - or rightfully closing a Thread - it's deleting an ENTIRE THREAD and removing any evidence that it existed. This is the 4th time this has happened. And each and every time, I have PM/emailed the Mods requesting an explanation and received ZIP back.

The point is, of course posts are deleted for many reasons, I guess. And there are many example of Mods closing a Thread and explaining why it was closed in the last post.

So Boom - no 'whining'. No 'accusations'. Simply offering the facts and requesting an explanation as to why? You may feel that we deserve no answers...I feel that as a 'customer' providing our thought and time and seeing advertisements here, it's only right to provide feedback. period.

The reason I am telling you this is because I know darned good and well that we would disagree on many controversial issues. I usually do not bother to engage, but every now and then, I do.

But you will NEVER see me behaving like some whiny princess when I get dinged.

When I get into trouble, I know why. . .and I knew it going in. And so do you.

I cannot imagine whining and making accusations and demands of the moderators — calling them on the carpet. Geez.

And, I also know I do not own the joint — but sometimes I sure wish I did.

Good Reasons

We have been using TOTV for many years and it has always been fair and good at censoring those messages that violate the rules. I have been warned once and it was a reasonable and fair action by the Administrator as it was my fault for forgetting one of the rules of TOTV. In addition I was given a specific reason and it was right and I should have been alert to that subtle rule.

The verdict is still outstanding but the thread was closed. I looked on the website but couldn’t find an answer. Does anyone know? Thanks.

I’ll take guess after few days they all get closed. Now we can argue of few?

A “customer”? I don’t think of myself as a customer.

To me TOTV is just a place where they let me show up and write something because I feel like it. But sometimes they might not like what I feel like writing and they make it disappear. That goes with the territory. TOTV is not our personal stage. . .although there are times when it is theater.

I do not think of myself or my posts as important. Geez.

If the moderators were not on top of things here, this place would turn into just another political echo chamber. I am happy they keep a lid on it.

As far as “owing” explanations goes. . .nope. . .

Why? Because certain threads are started as political bait — and the poster knows it. Also, the exchange would be never-ending because of the tenacity of the complainer. . .

And, to that point, it’s time for me to stop. I know better than to continue to engage in this one.
