It's down....do we know why?

Out in poinciana , same as others, no TV, Internet ok. It's 8:30

recorded msg said "technicians are working on it and service is expected to be restored by 10:12pm"

of course when I called at 6:30 is said it would be restored by 8:30

10 12 is a month and day...... not hours and minutes :-)

Zandra just told me it would be 1-2 hours and credit would be given for down time.

9:30 and still out here in De La Vista-phone,internet ok

Came back in Pinellas around 9:30 PM.

Does anyone know if you can dump Comcast (TV and Internet) and just use them for e-mail??????

I hear that and thought that they meant between 10 and 12.

In my 13 years here this has been the first time there has been a significant outage.

Maybe it was a lightning strike or something.

No reason to rail on Comcast.

I have most of the channels back, though not all yet. I'm sure things will be resolved by morning. Don't think I would have wanted to be out in tonight's storm trying to resolve the outage.

no Century-link in Hemingway last evening. Could watch recorded shows only.

When I called Comcast around 9 pm, they told me the repair estimate was extended until around 10:12 pm. This was because lightning was making it dangerous for their workers.

Well, I am done with Comcast! What is more important? Their worker's safety or me being able to watch a re-run of "Modern Family"?
