It hasn’t died on Facebook, unfortunately. Most likely NextDoor too, but I refuse to use NextDoor anymore.

My dad is 93. I was at his house the other day when he got an Amazon order of a years worth of coffee packets. It just made me feel good 😊❤️, I guess it’s how positive your outlook is.maybe you use them all, maybe you don’t, if not I doubt you care.

To me, the most amazing thing about Costco is that you can buy a diamond ring, or any other expensive jewelry, and return it for a full cash refund 10 years later, or even longer. By comparison, if you buy jewelry at most other jewelry stores, you will never get a cash refund, even if you return it the next day.

Do you really believe they would build one in Clermont and another one in The Villages?

Where we moved from we had one 10 minutes from us, and two 20 minutes from us, so yes I believe they would. Personally, I think Clermont is still too far to travel just to shop at Costco. Hubs doesn’t agree though, and can’t wait for it to open.

Do not think sexy seniors is the Hooters business model but think if they try real hard they can find waitresses we will want to become customers of.

Not a rumor, but FACT! COSTCO is coming to The Villages in 2025. A person in Corporate told me that a few weeks ago and a manager at the Altamonte store told me yesterday that Clermont store opens in November. Daytona Beach opens in 2024 and The Villages in 2025. Not a rumor. Fact!

highly doubt it.

well if you moved from a populous area then that's possible, this isn't "back home" therefore have fun driving to Clermont.

well, there ya go, Rich, it's the BIG question. some are thrilled @ the news, & i may have been too, when the kids were home, but these days the only thing i get in bulk is tp & pt. (never want another shortage fiasco). i don't eat @ home enough to purchase food items in bulk anymore, let alone cook. but to the many who praise the new Costco, have @ it & enjoy :MOJE_whot:

If you google "Costco Clermont" you will indeed see an official Costco post announcing that store opening November 14. Closer for those of us in the southern areas, so we will be joining. Only a little difference in time than getting to BJ's or Sam's up by Spanish Springs. Fine once a month jaunt.

If they build one closer eventually, great. But until I see it on their website, it's just speculation.

You don't need to Google it. If you are in Clermont, you will see the Costco building. It is on 50 Hwy, west of the Turnpike. Gas pumps and canopies are in, walls for the building are up. No doubt they will make their November 14th opening date.

I’ve also read in Consumer Reports that lots of people are very happy buying cars through Costco. Put in your order, Costco places the order, then calls you when the car arrives. Better price than most of us can get through a dealer.

Great to hear. I like Costco a lot better than Sam’s Club. However, if Costco refuses to have a scan and go capability like Sam’s Club, I won’t be going to Costco. Scan and go is absolutely fabulous. I can just scan everything in my cart with my phone, and never go to the checkout lane! Why Costco resists this capability is dumbfounding to me.

Have been reading information like this for years and have no reason to not believe this. In meantime they will be opening a Clermont location in Fall 2023 and that is 30 miles from us(next closest) 60 miles from our home in Spanish Springs. Still like Costco more than Sams or Bj's. Sams is the ultimate in junk food sales 3-4 aisle of snack foods.
