Costco is the only store/warehouse I have seen that has Charmin toilet paper with extra wide sheets (4 1/2" wide). I've been using this product for many years and truly appreciate that extra 1/2". The TP is more stable on the holder. Believe me.....it is.

Wow extra wide tp who knew?

Charmin makes this extra wide TP only for Costco. I've never seen it anywhere else.

Not really extra wide.
Just the size all TP used to be a few years ago, before shrinkflation.

Wow have learned so much about such an important topic. Who knew they shrunk the size and width of the rolls like so many other products.

Still not happy that tuna used to come in 7 oz cans and now 5.

Now back to our regularly scheduled thread as to who is happy and who is not about Costco getting closer and closer to the bubble and why us old foggies might not live long enough to use up a case of tp.

Not true. All TP has always been at most, 4" wide. Costo's Charmin brand is 4 1/2" wide. I've been purchasing this Charmin at Costco for at least fifteen years, maybe more. That extra 1/2" keeps the TP from sliding side to side on the TP holder. I've been very spoiled all these years.

You don't need to Google it. If you are in Clermont, you will see the Costco building. It is on 50 Hwy, west of the Turnpike. Gas pumps and canopies are in, walls for the building are up. No doubt they will make their November 14th opening date.

Heard of any incentives for new members like B.J.' s offered when they opened ? Perhaps only offering special breaks to those in immediate Clermont area ?

Actually, I've been noticing this for years now, LOL, our adult children were amused we noticed, LOL ! But once it was difficult to fit a roll into a standard width holder, now a roll is so much smaller it fits easily both in width and height.... it's amusing that consumers are thought to not even notice... just like the shrinking "half gallon" of ice cream, the shrinking "pound" of coffee, and the shrinking box of cereal which is the same size front of the box, but from the side view, has "shrunk" significantly...LOL ! The "new speak", a pound of coffee is actually 12 ounces, LOL !

Would seem a location half way between the Villages and Ocala would be a more logical choice to draw a larger membership, but, I have no idea what Costco considers in their rubric for location decisions.

Note that, even refrigerators less than 10 cubic feet are not considered major appliances by Costco.

Don't know about here in Florida, but last Christmas was visiting adult son and family in St. Louis suburb. Dyson quit just as getting ready for the holiday get together for the whole family. Son took it, without box, but with a copy of the 2 year old purchase on his credit card statement, came back with a brand new "animal" model that same day ! I know it because I was the one helping to do the cleaning for the next day's dinner...LOL !
