Most people are doing their part. The fact that you don't think that people are doing their part is your problem. My post was about an inane suggestion that was made (that health care workers should not help some people).

I do not agree with you that "most people are doing their part". No, they are not. There are too many people in this country who are science deniers and do not follow guidelines to slow the spread of this virus. I will continue to say this, not because I have any special insight as you said, but because our health experts are saying it and have been pleading with the American people to do the right thing. I watch all news sources and do not stick with only one source so I get the balanced view of what is going on in this country.
Cities in our country are locking down again because Americans are not doing their part to slow the spread of this virus. I'm not just talking about our bubble here. I honestly must say, a very high percentage of people in our neck of the woods do, in fact, wear masks when indoors in public spaces.
Just today I read an article about a wedding in Ohio that was a super spreader event. Just in case you do not read the article, this is excerpt from the article......
"Despite the fact that their grandparents were the only ones wearing masks the whole time, they still got sick, Mikayla Bishop said. "They actually wore their mask except for when they were eating their dinner," she told WLWT."
OK....so the grandparents wore masks the entire time EXCEPT for when they were eating. DUH!!!! People can not expect to sit shoulder to shoulder at a dining table with someone or more than one person who unknowingly has the virus and not have a very stong possiblity to contract the virus. Sure, put on the mask before eating and when your done eating. That does no good. People must be distanced from others and I'm sure those folks who sat at the table dining together were not the proper distance away from each other. I see it all the time right here in The Villages when folks congregate at the same dining table at 2, 4, 6 and even 8 tops. Don't tell me those folks are all in the same family. I will never believe that.
Here is the article from a FOX website if you are so inclined to read it.......
