I had a chance to see Connie Smith in person. She had a great voice. I also met George Jones a couple of times when I lived in TN not far from where he lived. He was a great talent who fell prey to alcohol.

Like Golfing Eagle's wife, I go in a crate. Fireboy and the dogs sit in front.
At night when we stop at LaQuinta, he lets me out of the crate. Then I get walked and fed.

When is the Nov. Chrispers event?

In keeping with the intent of this Thread, it has been suggested from time to time that we hold the Crispers event somewhere licensed so people can order a drink. At 3 PM? Well, it's always 5 o'clock somewhere. :popcorn:
All TOTV get-togethers are held the third Friday of the month at 3 PM at Crispers in Southern Trace Plaza. I think there is one today. So that would make it November 20. See you there?
