Speaking of truffles in bags. Happy Halloween (or fall festival) if you're opposed to Halloween for some reason)

Nothing like good dog poop post. News flash! No matter where you move you have to deal with the same circumstances. Unless you move out in the sticks. But, then there the wild animals you have to deal with.

But, you could of moved into place that don’t allow animals, then you wouldn’t have these problems.

I do wonder what go thru a dog owners mind when they bend over to pick up the excrement with those arthritic vertebrae and feel that squish. Praying and hoping that the thin plastic bag that separates them from a horrible aftermath, with no backup plan other than wiping their hand on the beautiful blades of Gods green earth..dogs must be something very special

LOVE this guy!

I would take your quote, “what part of the brain is missing to condone this behavior”, and flip it back at you. What part of the brain is missing for those who dislike dogs? Their loyalty and unwavering commitment to their owners is second to nothing. There is only one thing about being a dog owner that is less than ideal, it can be very complicated and difficult to travel. Otherwise they are absolutely great.

The for the dog folks have a pug profile picture. remember the human race? :welcome:

John-US is probably a cat who got hold of his owner's laptop and started posting.

They talk baby talk, play dress up, etc.
Before being labeled "dog hater", I have sheltered, shared my home with, loved and cared for 8 dogs in my lifetime. Never once did I suffer the delusion they were human. When see people so emotionally addicted to their dogs, I can't help but feel a bit sorry for that poor person.
While dogs posses many remarkable abilities, they are still dogs. Please stop demeaning your pet by calling it "FUR baby". Please remember that their hearing is way better then yours ever was and avoid places where they will be subjected to large crowds and loud noises, like the squares, fireworks and thunderstorms. Frightening and confusing for animals. And remember that not everyone likes, loves, trusts or wants your dog to approach them.

P.S. beware of Halloween treats others may try to give your pet. It might not be something they should have.

We are friends now ;) exactly what I was trying to convey-- but my mail carrier education didn't come off as eloquently as this post.

Another News flash! “No matter where you move you have to deal with the same circumstances”
That statement in my opinion, based on experience in having lived in many places, is simply not true!
I have had several dogs over the years, but until I came to live in TV I had never witnessed such bizarro behavior by some dog owners.
Maybe old age and loneliness have something to do with folks giving human attributes to an animal?

I seriously doubt you were ever in a foxhole

Shows what you know about dogs. The profile picture is a Border Collie, not a pug. Two very distinctly different breeds of dogs.

I think that the common denominator here is that regardless of breed, it's still just a DOG. Don't get me wrong, because I love dogs and have owned more than one most of my life. BUT, I would not own one in the villages and allow it to drop a load on my neighbor's yards. I have respect for other people's property. My dogs knew where they were allowed to unload and were always happy and well taken care of. But, even though they were considered family, they were still animals. I NEVER took a dog into a store, restaurant or business other than the Vets. I did not take my dog to a friend's home. People can love animals but still prefer them not to be in their faces.

You can stay out all night come home drunk sit on the couch all day and watch TV and your Dog is always happy to see you and never complain or ask for money unlike a Wife.. The old joke being Put you wife and dog in the trunk drive around for a few hours open the trunk and see which one is happy to see you ….

Trolls make great pets. They are cute, loveable, loyal, and they use the toilet and wipe their own butts. Some even contribute to the household income. Best yet, they will pretend not to notice if you shave a few points off your golf score.
