If I had seen a couple going at it at the Lake Sumter Square Pavillion at 10:30 PM unless there were kids around I would not have said anything to anyone just gone on my way. If they were fighting then I would call 911 but not for....

Ah, Judge Judy. Today's TV King Solomon!

Asking for a refund AND wanting to stay is ridiculous. Either they were SO annoying that you had to leave or you stayed. You stayed and should not get anything.

We watch Judge Judy and "my America" daily. Common-sense judge who sniffs out scams against taxpayers every day. Great entertainment! As for the theater buffoons: Go to the manager, dial 911 when he/she refuses to toss out the miscreants on their ears. The 20somethings came into the theater for the very purpose of disrupting senior citizens, and succeeded because no one had the gumption to prevent it. 911 is meant for such purposes.

Looks like Peggy is getting an early release, one minute past midnight on October 31. I will refrain from Halloween related comments at this point. Maybe she is getting out early for good behavior. She was working in the laundry while incarcerated. I hope she can remain clean after she is released.

I wonder if they will move away.

I would have demanded a refund and left with all my relatives. The theatre has to provide a safe, quiet environment. Everyone should have walked out. I refuse to put up with anyone's BS or get angry anymore. It's not worth it.

Have you been to San Francisco in the last few years? I was there 3 years ago on vacation staying in a Youth Hostel with my son and his college friends. While they were in a conference I went sightseeing. Everyday, many times a day I would be approached by panhandlers. It was hard to tell who was harmless. I feel very, very safe here but not there.

What does panhandling in San Francisco have to do with this post? Also, if I went to Frisco with my son, I would stay at a Hyatt or Marriott and NOT in a youth hostel!

Have you ever been in a public place and been bothered by a stranger? In some places like San Francisco that happens all the time. It's dangerous. It rarely happens here. It's not even worth getting angry. You can easily walk away.

My son and I were on a cross country trip. We enjoy each other’s company and could not afford the places you can afford. We have gone on many father/son trips. He picked out the Youth Hostel. It was his treat. He felt good showing me off to his friends. The Youth Hostel itself wasn't dangerous. It was right next to the Tenderloin District and we didn't know any better. He spent the first 4 years of his PHD program at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore and the last 2 at Stanford. I lent him my new Forrester and used his beat up Corolla until he graduated. That was the impetus of the trip. I flew home.

And why do I owe you an explanation?

I was in Frisco last October and saw panhandlers by Pier 39 area. None were agressive but they can be in places. I still would have stayed at the Hyatt.

I did not ask for an explanation. I merely stated I did not see any connection with the OP and still do not.

I'm surprised you let Baltimore off easy, they have a ton of homeless people and about 300 homicides a year. I guess it all depends on what area of town you're in, maybe that could be the said for San Fran.

redwitch 10-17-2014 04:23 PM

And don't call it Frisco! Sheesh!!!!!!

The Villages is so much safer than Baltimore too. I let them off easy.
Is that your point?

CFrance 10-17-2014 09:54 PM

Why is it PIC to call it Frisco and yet people still say Philly? Even the police use @PhillyForce.
