Probably because they are the moron, know the moron or have done things equally moronic and want to make it seem no big deal.
You are correct, imho. The guy is a moron and a jerk and he created a potentially deadly hazard. He is a menace.

He does not? He doesn't even have a license. He gets chauffeured around in a pearl white Bentley with snow white chamois upholstery. Like riding on a cloud, or so I've been told.

Exactly what part of not condoning his actions is so difficult to understand?

Seems like anger management issues not a sense of entitlement.

Call it any way you want, it is still stupid as hell to park in traffic. Frustrated, angry or entitled, it was still stupid and potentially deadly and the guy is a brain dead jerk! imho.

In the past where I worked you were required to back in parking. It was at a refinery. Two reasons, one when parking you can back into a spot while seeing the area is clear and no crossing traffic behind you. 2) In an emergency, backing out of a parking spot interferes with traffic flow in an emergency.

The wait time for some one crossing in front of you is almost no different than waiting for someone to back into a spot. Don't they teach you patience at your church? Shame, shame, shame.....

The other reason for backing into a space is personal readiness. My friend's dad used to say, "If you're always ready, you never have to GET ready."

If you have 2 seconds before you arrive somewhere to back into a space safely, do so, because when seconds count pulling out from being backed in is much safer and faster. This is why many first responders prefer to back into spaces whenever possible.
