Congratulations Steven, well done.
Sounds like you have a great lot on the water.
I also believe that amenities will happen as needed, it's The Villages way.

Helo, everyone:
Lets see, 2 new golf courses.
Nature at it best
country club amenities
archery range
air gun range
8 1/2 minutes to lake deaton plaza(by car)
11 minutes to brownwood
you have to envision what will be developing there
based on how the villages have done things in the past.

***** i was on the first trolly to fenny on the
first day. I completed the first land lease in fenny.

Good luck and good lot choice. There is only so much waterfront property. When you sit out on your lanai you may not want to drive anywhere.

Respectfully, you're half right.

1. They bought the land up to the east end of the bridge. They do not yet own the land up to the west end of the bridge.

2. The land they bought on the east side of the turnpike does not extend to 44. There is a large parcel that borders 44 which they do not yet own.

Of course, I think we all agree that it's just a matter of time and money before they acquired this property.

It really does not matter- that bridge is nowhere near Brownwood. If they cross the turnpike and 44, it is going to be near Brownwood. Why would they bother making people drive that far east?
