2010 XD, around 66,000 miles. Bought it with 300 miles on it, it was a dealer lot car so still had a new car warranty even though it was insured as used. #1 thing I hate most about it: no arm rest. What kind of crazy is that, to manufacture a car with no arm rest? They wanted another $90 for one that clicks into the cup holder in the back. Screw that. My next car will be a Kia. Maybe some hideous color like light turquoise, tangerine, or hot pink. And I'll park it outside a different drab beige house in the southern half of the Villages every day.

I'm not a fastfood fanatic but there are times I'm in a hurry and just want to pick something up. Finally south of 44 is getting a McDonalds in Magnolia Plaza as noted in today's Daily Sun. That and the gas station going in on Warm Springs and 301 will be well accepted. Maybe this is the start of long awaited commercial development beyond the plaza itself.

Wish brownwood could get one

Where did you read that? Hope so, we need some kind of fast food! Hope they will let us “eat” inside! Haven’t gone to McDonald’s because you can’t sit inside.

It's on the front page of today's Daily Sun. Going into Magnolia Plaza.

WooHoo! Living the dream! I don't mind their breakfast burrito with "hot" sauce at 5:30AM...Lets you know yer alive!

Fastskiguy 03-07-2021 08:32 AM

It's nice to see McDonalds coming, they are the best at picking locations so it confirms Warm Springs will be a "big deal". And as I can gaze out my window and see Warm Springs right now....I'm pretty excited about that.

And us "south of the turnpike people" are just weeks away from getting connected via the Water Lilly bridge....it's all coming together!!!

Snowbug 03-07-2021 08:38 AM

Now, if we could just get a downtown square!

Try Culver's on 466 for the best fish sandwich.
