Please post the law banning fireworks in Florida. As far as I know, they are legal to sell and legal to set off on three holidays unless a local government prohibits it.

Most years, we have gone to a local lake and set off aerial fireworks over the lake. We've never had a complaint and have never had the police show up to stop us.

We'll not be doing it this year for a few personal reasons but that shouldn't stop anyone else from safely celebrating this great holiday in the traditional fashion.

It’s 4th of July it’s legal . I don’t fire them but know people who do and some with PTSD . I would imagine that because of many with hearing problems and AC it shouldn’t be a problem and for the many that are in bed here by 10 PM , well just take a second nap the next day

Fireworks are dangerous and they cause bodily harm every year. They can cause roof fires if things go wrong. They scare veterans and otherS with PTSD and terrify animals. Watch them on your tv but don’t shoot them off in TV please.

Fireworks

Fireworks are legal on the 4th as folks have said unless a local ordinance prohibits them. We personally do not care for neighborhood fireworks our small dogs become very upset at loud noises. Even thunderstorms upset them. We dealt with it in our former neighborhood. Be advised if you damage someone’s property you are liable. My old neighbor had one land on the hood of my new truck. He had to pay for the repair where it damaged the paint.

You know when you are an official old, grumpy Villager when you complain about fireworks because it upsets your little pooch.

For those who have called about fireworks being shot off . The sheriff is going to be hooked into NASA satellite so he can pinpoint the perpetrators and send his deputies all over county to make arrest because he has nothing else to do on 4th of July weekend ( sigh)

it is now legal to set off all fireworks in the state of Florida. Only two day's the 4th of July and New Years. So go ahead and blow some stuff up.

3 Day to be exact. July 4th, New Years Eve, and New Years Day. AND, and its a big AND, the State law does NOT override local municipalities.

Obviously you don’t have a pet, and if you do, obviously you don’t care. With your thinking, i assume if a Vet has PTSD you don’t care about them either. Our pup is scared to death with fireworks noise to the point we need to medicate her, if not, she can literally be scared to death.
Glad we don’t live next to you !

I don't understand why some questions are even asked. Is it that the older we get, the lower the IQ becomes?

Yes, only when the Pilates drummers are drumming next door.

So now before we shoot off our sparklers will sanitize our hands and than wash off the sanitizer while wearing shoes.

And being outside.
