We all must realize that we are in Deep S*** when Churches are asking people to mask up.
Guess god only can protect so many, and let's not worry about school kids, it will only make them stronger

Lets see.....you could
1. Go ask your Doctor?
2. Post a question on a message board?

best to ask your doctor on that one. I did get the booster, I did not wait 8 months after last vaccine.... they said 28 days you can do this. However, I was 5 months after last dose and compromised. I think 8 months if your NOT compromised. For ME, no way would I mix vaccines and the further apart the better.... So

Heard a reputable doctor say there is no spacing for booster and flu shot. You can get at same time.

I am not doubting you but as a retired nurse I personally would wait at least two weeks between vaccines. Should you have an allergic reaction you would have no way of knowing which vaccine caused it. It is always best to air on the side of caution.

Make sure your pneumonia shot is up to date.

I'm lucky that I shouldn't be getting the booster until December. I plan on getting the flu shot in early October (unless Publix gives out another gift card for getting it in September like they did last year). Plenty of time for all.

I understand from a good authority that the flu vax and additional covid boosters are going to be sold at the local grocery stores in the form of a soft drink that you can take daily, along with your daily morning vitamin drink. It won't matter how much you drink because the more you drink the more protection you will have..............in your mind. :a040: :1rotfl: :1rotfl:

Oh yeah, and for the first thousand customers, a free box of Kleenex brand disposable tissue masks will be given with your breakfast drinks.

Yeah all the people who refused to vaccinate and made fun of people who did, who got COVID and died from it, are having a hoot right now laughing at me. Oh wait - they can't. They're dead. :coolsmiley::a040::a040::clap2:

Hmm, how many MILLION did not get vaccinated and are still alive and well? I am not an Anti-Vaxxer, I just don't subscribe to mass hysteria. All illnesses are serious to some folks, but they do not ask their neighbors for medical advice. Most folks have a family doctor that they deal with and should seek his/her advice, not the news media or a neighbor.

Villagesgal 08-23-2021 11:13 AM

Got both 3rd dose and flu shot at the same time. Per pharmacist and my GP and my Cardiologist it's fine to get both at same time, but I'd ask my own doctor if I were you. No reaction except sore arm at vaccination site that lasted one day.

Daigoro25 08-23-2021 11:49 AM

I agree with everyone who suggests that seeking medical advice in this forum rather than asking your physician is unwise.
