Oh yeah, and for the first thousand customers, a free box of Kleenex brand disposable tissue masks will be given with your breakfast drinks.

Should also include a couple of rolls of toilet paper, tee hee.

I like hearing many opinions, consulting physicians and Pharmacists alike. And then will make my decision.
Your snarky response is not necessary or wanted. Have a blessed day.

I am unaware that flu vaccines are available right now. Usually start to be given late September early October and should be before January. 3rd boosters available now at many pharmacies

I heard on ABC good morning America today from Dr. Jen Ashton that you can actually get the flu vaccine and the booster shot at the same time. The doctor also said that they’re thinking of creating a combination shot that includes both.

There is probably low risk but clinical trials required a 30 day wait between vaccinations so I doubt there is data that supports this.

why wouldn't you ask your health care provider?

raynan 08-24-2021 08:23 AM

Red Chariot, My doctor said 28 days between flu and booster. I can't get booster til 11/4 (8 mos after 2nd Pfizre) so I'll get flu shot earlier.

NHsnow1 08-24-2021 09:09 AM

Politicians have once again gotten ahead of the data. The booster is currently only approved for those who have a compromised immune system. CDC had not released any additional guidance on boosters at this time. I would be interested in looking at the science that supports the need at this time.

Flu shots are available in most places now. I got mine late September last year so I'll get this year's around the same time.

Speak to your doctor -- only he/she can provide the information based upon your medical history.

TIA

You can request an order from your doctor for a lab to draw your antibody levels and then decide.

I called my doctors office and asked about the booster and was told by his nurse they don't recommend covid shots or a booster. Told her that I already had my two shots and wanted a booster. She basically mumbled something back and then hung up ???? So much for my doctors advice! No names so don't ask ;)

And where did you find this reputable doctor? I thought all doctors were reputable.
