My circuit breaker for the lamp post is the same breaker as the lawn sprinklers.

I too give in to the urge to be nonconformist sometimes. As long as people can see your house number at night (which is why the Villages requires them).

My blue bulbs looked green because of the material of the plastic enclosure of the light fixture. After trying a couple of different bulbs I gave up and changed back to bright white

What house number? There was nothing on our house or by our house when we bought it. The same next door. FedEx went around the block twice to find us.

Yes there is a circuit breaker in the garage that controls the lamp post, but there are other circuits on the breaker as well., such as your garage outlets...

I don't think TV requires lights to be on at night. I've seen some that have been out for months...

Wow what a sad state we live in, that if we want to DECORATE by having a FUN color lightbulb in our lawn lamp, people will assume it has to MEAN something.

How about we stop assigning meanings and labels to so many things, and just enjoy a green, blue, purple, pink, red lamp post light just because it's fun. Embrace the difference and stop turning it into a "statement."

I cannot find any documentation requiring a house number or that it must be lit at night?
