We recently bought a new SUV. I had some problems trying to figure out how to operate it in general. Shortly after purchasing it we came out of Hobby Lobby with some sacks full of purchases and I couldn't get the key fob to open the back lift gate. After cussing a bit and trying to figure out what I was doing wrong I realized it wasn't my car. It wasn't even the same brand.

I finally looked around and was able to identify my car. It was the one a row over with the lift gate up. There are just too many white SUVs around here.

On a serious note, Google Maps can set your parking space when you park, and then repeat the location back to you when you're ready to find your vehicle again.

Simple Solution

For a GolfCart, I found a very inexpensive solution that works beautifully.
I bought an air tracker THAT WORKS OFF GPS, and put it in my golf cart. The ones that work off GPS can locate your cart from a very far distance. It works perfectly and I use it everytime I am not sure where I parked.

There's an APP for that.

Simple Solution

I found a simple solution that is inexpensive and works great.

I bought an air tracker that is GPS supported (that is very important) and leave it in the glove box of my golf cart.

I easily find my golf cart every time by using the tracker on my phone.

Air Tag

Lets face it we are all getting older, and memory loss is part of that. Use the tools available to you, and install Apple air tags in all your vehicles.

This is what this site has become really. Putting up senseless jokes on an Information site from a senior member. No it’s not funny and it’s a waste of time. Find something else to do.

Buy a golf cart flag holder and get a flag you identify with -- "Go Cubs!'

Actually, there are Apps for that....not surprising, many are called "Find My Car"....just do a search.

It's starting to happen more often > Someone keeps moving my vehicle in the parking lots after I park it. I'm not sure why they do it ? When I have my car, at least I can use the key fob to beep the horn or lights to help me find where they moved it to, but with my golf cart, I have to walk up and down the aisles to find it. I guess I can't complain too much because I can at least increase my step count, which for some reason has also been getting a lot lower. I think The Villages or local police should provide more security in the parking lots to help stop this annoying issue, which is clearly getting worse. Has anyone else noticed this problem, or have any other recommendations? :)

🤣😝 I resemble that remark!

I can only tell you what works for me. I'm not sure why it works, I just know it seems to prevent unauthorized vehicle movement by rascals and scoundrels.
You have to make up a song about where you've parked and sing it out loud at the highest possible level. This must be done after you've parked and, here's the important part, after you have exited the vehicle.
To ensure parking protection from misanthropes, additional dancing is highly recommended. This is best performed in spastic, jerking-like motions to cast a bubble of security over the vehicle. Latest research points towards variations of break dancing to be highly effective.
I recommend trying this remedy several times in various places for efficacy.
