That happens when you and your spouse shop in different stores. Then your spouse forgets about you and drives home.

It's starting to happen more often > Someone keeps moving my vehicle in the parking lots after I park it. I'm not sure why they do it ? When I have my car, at least I can use the key fob to beep the horn or lights to help me find where they moved it to, but with my golf cart, I have to walk up and down the aisles to find it. I guess I can't complain too much because I can at least increase my step count, which for some reason has also been getting a lot lower. I think The Villages or local police should provide more security in the parking lots to help stop this annoying issue, which is clearly getting worse. Has anyone else noticed this problem, or have any other recommendations? :)

That's what the panic button the fob is for! Only problem is you do the walk of shame as your panic alarm announces to all that you have forgotten where you parked.

Attaching a colored loofah

Please don't encourage people to attach a colored loofah to the top of their cars or carts. I can finally find mine again. And don't tell me just to put two on the top, then I can't remember what two colors I have up there. (This is a joke, or at least I think it was, what were we talking about?)

I forgot to take a picture.

SERIOUSLY....
they do make remote "finders" that could work for a golf cart just like automobiles...designed for bicycles

Bike Alarm Rechargeable Wireless Anti-Theft Vibration System Waterproof w/Remote | eBay

I may buy one to test the range

Yeah, people forget where they park and it’s humid in TV during the summer. Some things never change. Ho hum.

Some people put a pineapple one on top

A similar memory issue happened to me last Saturday at church. We usually take our convertible cart to church a park in the designated golf cart lot next to the church. After the service was over last Saturday we walked out to the parking lot and our convertible cart was GONE! Silly me. Because of a threat of rain we had taken our other cart. No foul.

Lets face it we are all getting older, and memory loss is part of that. Use the tools available to you, and install Apple air tags in all your vehicles.

I have them on both cars, the cart, my wallet, my keys, my Jetski, and my boat. Oh, and one on a collar for the dog.

They work like magic. Every January 1 (thereabouts), I go around and change their batteries. Same as I do for smoke detectors.

That is SO funny!!!

SHIBUMI 05-07-2025 08:25 AM

I think we saw you once

My wife and I were at the driving range and she approached a man having some difficulties in his golf car. She showed him how to use the seat belt and turn the golf car on. I asked what was that all about, she said he forgot how to start the golf car and how to work the seat belt! Sounds like you did find your way home. Maybe some B12 would help and not leaving your key in the golf car.

I agree, and while we are on the subject, let me second the idea of taking a photo with your cell phone. For added security, lock the cell phone in the golf cart’s glove box so that when you find one, you find both 🤣
