What incredible values looking at these from Newport Beach! I love the first one and cannot believe how low its price!

A super smart classmate from high school having an MD and a JD resides in that community and now I understand why!

Yep, my eye doctor lives there and I have played golf there many times, it's a great golf course and the difference in size, quality of construction, finishes, & lot size of that house compared to the upgraded Ivy in TV is obvious. No brainer to me.

Yep. Like comparing a Ford to a Ferrari.

BTW my classmate’s father was our family’s ophthalmologist while I was a child growing up. Lol

The one I know of already owns a home here.

The billionaire who taught me how to ride a bike when I was seven years old now resides in a 55 and over community. He unfortunately at age 90 has dementia.

The move from a huge estate has been a lifesaver for his wife who now can easily socialize within the community.

Life is a series of phases.

Or this one?

A house is worth material cost plus labor. A house sells for whatever the market will pay. Capitalism.

JimJohnson 09-23-2019 03:57 AM

If I was a billionaire I would rather live here than south beach or Hollywood and god forbid, New York City.

What they said.

Property in The Villages seems to become more valuable every month. New AND used.

Not used —it’s supply and demand —older homes are not appreciating at the rate they were before The Villages moved south of Hillsborough

I'm sure that it has other massive features that I haven't yet seen. Oh yes, no golf cart garage! Basic 2 car garage.

It must have massive features because the price is very massive.

Of course those are my price guesses and TV didn't build this as a SPEC house, it was built by a customer who for whatever reason couldn't follow through with the purchase.

Massive, Massive, Massive.

I dunno. The home we bought new in the Village of Hadley on Havana Trail in 2008 for $227K has now three value estimates for $330K,$368K and $375K.

I wonder how much your home has increased? It is easy to check. You can find out how much the original cost was by going to Sumter County, Lake County or Marion County property appraiser sites. And find out what the current value estimates are by simply typing in the address on your browser.

P.S. I don't sell homes and I have never sold homes, neither does my husband or my sister or cousins or aunts.

Allegedly the chairman of ICE:NYSE recently bought a home in Bridgeport at Lake Sumter for a relative. He doesn't live there. Not a billionaire but half way there.

I connected your dots to a fellow name Jeffrey Sprecher who I don't think lives here. He is worth a couple of hundred million. A billion is a thousand million. Yeah. I say WOW, too.
