Sided homes I've seen built in TV are wood frame construction, ply/particle board, with vinyl siding.

I sure hope so!

Do we know that to be a fact?

Has this been confirmed?

Hope and know are two different things. I wish I did know. If that's the case, mine will be one of the first on the market to be sold.

I can testify. This morning 8/25/14 one child arrived in a red SUV from behind the gate, waited in the SUV then boarded the bus. A second girl escorted by an adult female crossed the street when the bus arrived that girl also boarded the bus and the adult female returned to the nursing home across from the gate. The red SUV then went back behind the gate.

Only one child boarded the bus from TV. No golf carts.

My question, could this be the 30 day exchange student?

I don't know anything about children here on the historic side but thought you might like to see this new listing of a house for sale in Silver Lake.

The Villages - Search for New, Pre-owned Homes and Villas in The Villages, Florida

When looking for homes for sale here in the historic section you have to remember that not all of the homes here are manufactured homes so to get the full range you may need to search according to price range. It seems pretty clear that homes over here are rapidly increasing in price.

Oooops

Sorry, having trouble with the link. Just in case it doesn't work again go to the 200k to 250k range and you find the house on Palmetto Dr, Silver Lake for 224k.

It's also possible that the parents work and drop the kids off early in the morning with grandma so she can bring them to the bus stop and they can get to work on time.

The other "many" will be coming in newly retired or about to retire with today's retirement savings and investments making them able to afford $200,000 (which is still a bargain price point for people coming from other states where a patio villa like TV's would cost $400,000+).

Patio Villas can be had for well under $200,000. Courtyard Villas start at around $200,000

I have often thought that once our baby booming generation expires, TV will have to open up to families with children in order to continue turning over the real estate.

What do you have (house size and location) and what are you looking to get for it?

THAT will be someone else's problem.

Please keep showing us pictures of progress on the homes, Dr. Boogie. It is fun to watch.

A whole new wave of grey panthers is coming our way.

We have a very small manufactured home on the historic side. We have a 3900 sq.ft. Home in North Georgia.

We would probably buy a 1,900 sq.ft. On the other side of 441. By the time they got around to revitalizing that area, we would be dead and gone.
