Agree, but I have a nasty gut feeling that there is an affluent husband somewhere protecting her, and there are many attorneys who will take this case. It could be that the legal arrangements are being finalized right now.

You can buy a lot of time and a type of justice with money.

I also believe lawyers are involved!!!

My nasty gut feeling is that she will be produced at sometime with either a medical condition or whatever serves the purpose best. I hope the cyclists have an attorney.

Boy, am I getting cynical in my old age ........

It has not been mentioned here that the Florida Driver's License is good for 10 years. If you pass a test at the beginning of the 10 yrs and your sight is 20/50 it could deteriorate over the 10 yrs to where you should not be on the road. The driver in question may have a vision problem.

i’m thinking dui

Too late to prove it.

I’m thinking cognitive impairment/dementia. She may not be aware of what happened. Very sad situation in any case.

Who or what Camera captured the auto, and a lady with a cane get out of the car. Did the sheriffs office ask for people to find the driver? Not sure sending people out in the neighborhoods door to door looking for a driver of a white Benz is a smart idea. I would hope the sheriffs dept, has already ran where all of the white Benz are situated in and around TV.

I’m thinking bone Spurs that slowed her braking response.

The idea that a woman driving a 4 door Mercedes must have a rich husband protecting her is soooo 19th century

May not be village resident, or surrounding towns?

That's very possible. Not everyone driving through TV lives here.

I read somewhere that you should always carry a bottle of booze in your car. Then, when you are in an accident, you should get out of the car and start drinking. That way, they cannot prove that you were driving drunk. Not that I endorse this recommendation.
