Some people tend to believe everything that a person says when making a complaint on TOTV. Me, I always assume that the words of an angry person are not accurate when talking about the person that made them angry.

Agree. Complaining on social media is simply an attempt to justify their side of the story while making another look bad.

Whatever it was that did transpire is no one’s business but those involved. No reason to spread more negativity on social media.

My first thought too.... I can't believe this happened this way at any CC in The Villages, but especially not somewhere I frequently dine and have experience with the staff. Threatened to "hit you in the mouth"? I absolutely don't believe a manager followed anyibe into a parking lot and threatened to hit anyone over anything.

When he said "I should slap you in the face" I think that I would have said very calmly "I would caution you to think about what you are saying, as I have no intention of standing still while you or anyone else assaults me."

The coupon didn't need an expiration date. The coupon expired end of day 1/24/25,

Sorry OP for those who don't believe you, I do. I bet you added the "Absolutely truthful about this experience" because you know there's always readers on TOTV that want to dispute everything, even if they have no facts about the issue. I'm sorry you had to deal with that disturbed/disturbing manager, naysayers on TOTV and spellcheckers!!!!

From looking at their website, it appears that pizzas cost about $15 each. I would think the bad publicity (from the other people in the restaurant at the time and for those reading this on TOTV) would cost them more than $15.

"Valid 1/24/25" ... only on that day?

About 1 million Americans have "been truthful" about being abducted by aliens as well. Anybody believe them??????? If so, I have a bridge for sale.

My button was pushed when I saw the comment that No Expiration date stated as a reason coupon still valid. Discussions over that "incorrect Assumption" must have been interesting.

True. The coupon was only valid on that specific day, and the original poster should have realized that.

That said, that manager seems to be having severe mental problems and should be seen by a doctor at once before he harms someone. This isn’t just anger issues.

Yeah, this is very suspect. If this happened to me, the camera would’ve been out asap. There’s much more to this story.

Two couples went to Mallory on Wed. evening 3/5/25, for Pizzas.
I had a promo coupon for a "BOGO" offer showing "Valid 1/24/25", no expiration date.
Showed the coupon to the waitress in advance of ordering, she was very nice, said it should work just fine. Ordered, and got two fine pizzas.
Proceeded to pay with C.C. and coupon, waitress proceed with no problems.
The a few minutes later a male who said he was a manager, came to our table waving
the coupon, in an extremely loud voice said the coupon was not valid, and that I was trying to scam them. I was shocked at his attitude. I tried to ask a question as to why
it was not valid, as there was no expiration date anywhere. He just continued to virtually scream at me, with the entire dining area looking to see what was happening. He was right in my face, I told him to leave as I'll pay for everything.
He finally left in a "Huff", then a number of nearby dinners expressed absolute
shock to me that this took place.
Upon leaving I stopped by the registration desk to ask what his name was as he had no name badge. She turned away and went to get him. As I saw him coming he growled very loudly "What do you want now?" I said I don't want to talk to him, just
what his name was. His reply " we don't need people like you dinning here" I said
fine will never come back but what is your name, "he again exploded extremely yelling "I should smack you right in your face". My reply was "your an *******, I am leaving", (people in the waiting area were shocked). I went out the door with him following me outside, screaming obscenities at me, I continued to leave.
Comment: This is absolutely what took place witnessed by my wife and the other couple with us.
Unbelievable that Mallory would have a person like this function as a manager.
All this over a simple misunderstanding of the valid date on a promo coupon.
Needless to say never going back to Mallory again.

Sorry, But I find this story hard to believe, as I know the people running this restaurant and have never been treated with anything but respect from management. I would love to hear from some of the other diners who supposedly heard the manager's verbal abuse. If this is true , I am shocked.

As I TOO would have posted. We simply can't be sure. Related but not. Two pies for two couples. A slice of pizza is roughly 6-800 calories.

Between Brooklyn Heights and lower Manhattan. And yes, there was a coupon that stated valid 3/7/2025. But you and almost everyone else understood it to mean that day only, so too late
