Men really get pedicures? I thought I'd heard everything but guess not. Golly Gee Willikers!:22yikes:

1st Men do get peddies and mannies... It is big out in Calif!
2nd I would never go again to the scholl, every time I went, I ended up with a different person and it was never a good job

I go to Hollywood in front Of Walmart on 466... see Mark, he does the best job around here!!

The place in Spanish Springs near the ticket office is very good, reasonably priced, has all necessay equipement, etc...

It's quite common for men to get both manicures and pedicures near me in the Chicago suburbs! Typical cost is about 30 dollars. Does anyone do pink and white gel nails in TV?

Signature Nails

Signature Nails in the little shopping center west of Sweetbay is a great place to get manicures/pedicures for both men and women. I had mine done for $45 on Friday. I have seen lots of men in there (including my husband).

I agree with you Gracie. Dimension's prices are very expensive. My person there got several promotions and I can't afford to go there any longer.

Many years ago I had a very wealthy friend that I would go out with for dinners, movies, girls night out etc... She ALWAYS asked very politely how much something was. Especially at restaurants when they told you the specials but never the price, or the special wines they were offering. I learned from her because I used to be the type of person that was embarassed to ask. Well I eventually learned from her and since then have always asked the price.

BTW, I think the pedicure price was too high, but that's how we determine if the service was worth the experience.

Angela's near Southern Trace shopping plaza was the best I've ever had and it was $25. I have golf buddies come down from up north this week and they are all planning to go there.

I agree....tv men are way cool! I get my toes done every 3-4 weeks and usually see a man in one of the chairs. Even went to Tuscany Spa in Sumter and there was a guy getting his feet done. I think "coolness" comes with age!!

I think men usually get clear.....my husband doesn't get any polish. He likes his heels done and relaxes for a bit. Isn't that what we came here for the relaxation and pampering.

I'd have to say it would be a tough sell for Sweetie.

Reminds me of the Andy Griffith show where Floyd's Barber Shop hired a beautiful lady for manicures. Eventually worked after she was shunned at first.

I've crossed my fingers that whatsherface from the Orlando Sentinel does not pick this up.
I can see the headline now - an exact quote of the above.
It'll make Leisureville seem tame.:1rotfl:

I've been told that the woman who owns the Salon Professional Academy (the beauty school by Wal-mart on 466) also owns Root 66, Dimensions at Colony, the salon to the left of Target and two others in The Villages which at the moment I can't remember. She is/was a friend of the developers.
Who would have guessed????
