I agree that Signature Nails is a great place to go for both men & women to get pedicure/manicures. They're located next door to Bravo Pizza, near Sweet Bay. A pedicure is $26.00. They have plenty of men getting pedicures. Also, there are quite a few men that give the pedicures and/or manicures. Trish

Yes, men get pedicures. Saw guys all the time back in Northern VA get pedicures at my nail salon especially around Valentine's Day. My hubby poohed the idea until he started to wear sandals here in FL. I luv him for it!

I agree---as do all my neighbors. We all go to Angela's. I had mani/pedi and the total cost was 35.00 but, of course, I tipped in addition to this amount. They have more elaborate manicures and pedicures with different lotions, styles, etc., which can add to this price. They have a brochure you can pick up and it details all of these including the prices.

I've been to Angela's. The mani/pedis are OK for the cost. The best I have had is at Tuscany but way too expensive. BTW, they have 2 guys at Angela's who also do the nails. I didn't care for the guy to do my nails rather have a gal. Trying Solar Nails next.

Men get pedicures regularly in Miami. :) The cost of manicure/pedicures are defintely more expensive here than in Miami.

I see men at the nail spa in Colony but they're usually there for manicures, not pedicures.

After 10 years in TV I think I have almost hit every bad and good place for hair and nails around LOL Acrylic and or Gel nails. I went to Hollywood Nails for years till the guy I like left and everyone I tried there was less than good when the latest owners took over. For the past year I have tried numerous places for Gel Nails and they were all terrible, from getting fungus to being thick and lately all of them lifting! I am going to try Solar Nails because at the moment I am desperate :( Re: Hair again have been to many places first off let me say I hate Redken products I prefer for color Matrix. Have used it for may years and it did my hair proud! I have tried so many places to get a good cut and found a great place but it is all the way in Leesburg. Got tired of going that distance with the traffic and finally found a place within a golf cart ride! Believe it or not it is the Hair Cuttery in Mulberry Grove. Lesa does a great cut and highlights for me and is very reasonable! Note I do my base color at home as I have a friend that can supply me with Matrix products and I have my formula from up north I do my color and then the next day I have Lesa do my cut and highlights. She is wonderful ! Now to only get a good nail place I have been to all the places people here have recommended and have had bad experiences but remember I am talking acrylic and or gel nails. I never have and never will go to those salons owned by the same person first pricing is outrageous. I went to Bellas for nails one time they told me they did gels then did acrylic and white tips to boot which I did not want the nails were thick and the girl took over 2 hours to do them they were closing the doors on us! Awful experience. Hope I have good luck at Solar Nails :(

Believe it or not it is the Hair Cuttery in Mulberry grove. Lesa does a great cut and highlights for me and is very reasonable! I agree with you!! I now do lowlights because I have too much white/gray now and can get away with doing this for close to 2 months

I will eventually be moving to TV and also use Haircuttery!!! I dont know where this is yet but is this the haircuttery?

Yes that's the one :) Lesa is a Master Stylist and wonderful. I am so glad I found her through a friend at work! It's in the plaza by Publix by the Subway. Right off of Rte. 42

I always tip my hair stylist/barber, even though they are the business owner. Why? Because their prices are usually based on comptetition and kept as low as they can keep them in order to pay overhead, advertising, and make a living. Therefore I tip them; a. because I like their work, and b. because I want them to be able to afford to stay in business in order to continue to do their work.

My stylist does my hair once a month and charges $16 and I give her a 20 and tell her to keep the change. $48 a year is a small price to pay to help a good professional continue in business and give me good service.

I paid $46 before a tip at Dimensions in Colony Plaza.
