This sounds like a lead in to a conspiracy theory. Such fun!

18 large eggs $3.65 at Walmart.

I don’t usually shop groceries at Walmart but since I was there… a gallon of milk was half the price of Publix. I was hesitant to try the milk but it’s good. So either Walmart is using milk as loss leader, or Publix is simply gauging the public.

Bingo! Finally an intelligent answer.

If one is a Christian.

The pagan information was interesting to others who, I suspect, are equally intelligent.

Maybe fiddy cent can be saved by driving to Costco 4 dem Eggs. :1rotfl:

We belonged to Sam's, BJ'S & Costco in New Jerkey. I preferred Sam's then. Well, times have changed. Momma says since we live close to The Noisey Smelly Terrible Turnpike we gonna use it and quit the first two places and join Costco. I just lowered my head and said yes dear and liked the good guy I try to be, I hear and I obey! When I say I'd do anything for Love but I won't do that I didn't mean not joining Costco. I meant not buying an Electric Golf Cart and I think that may be happening too.

I only want to win the big things I can let stuff like this go I hope! She's an Angel Walking The Face Of The Earth and I'm NOT so I guess mark me down as whipped or lucky or both! :ohdear:

Considering 1960 dollars if that was the year a $1 in those years now it requires $10.00 or a 900.71% increase. The $.02 would be $.18 today. The average annual salary for a male in 1960 was $5,400 a women was $1,900 annually.
Doesnt seem much today, your mother was being frugal milk in 1960 was $.36. Hope you enjoyed your cereal because of your mother.
