Fill in ss# with 000 and don't fill in insurance info but fill in everything else. It is legit. Go on Sumter County sheriff's website and read it and the link is right there to click on . People that called yesterday have appointments tonight and you are given an appointment for your second shot too. My neighbor signed up late last night and her appt. is 5:30 today. I was still investigating to see if it was legit and didn't sign up until 10 this morning and don't have an appt yet.

I would never give out private information especially during the covid19 virus time. If you are on a site trying to get the vaccine put in zero's for your s.s.#

I checked this website out by doing an internet search for Florida State authorized covid-19 vaccines and this website did come up as a legitimate website. I questioned the fact that they wanted my social security number and insurance card info but today I saw that people put down no insurance and put all zeros for their social security number and it does go through. When you try to register you may need to use your computer tools to scroll way over to the right side of your screen so you can find where to enter your verification code and I had trouble finding the next buttons as they barely showed on my computer screen. This topic has been discussed on next door and many people have actually received the shots through them so it appears to be legitimate.

Just got back. Very well organized and couldn't have been easier for hubby to get his shot. Had to wait 15 minutes to make sure all was okay. Overall, it took no more than 25-30 minutes from entrance to exit.

However, it seems as thought the event is not working on a level playing field. If it is true that the only communications were supposed to go through the Daily Sun, it is not right that residents who are in The VIllages Health Care System were notified by e-mail on Sunday night. Those of us who are not in the Villages Health Care System did not have the information until Monday morning when the Daily Sun was delivered. That meant priority of appointments went to Villages Health System patients. Also some have reported that individuals they know, who registered after they did, have received appointments while the first individuals are still waiting for their appointment notification. If true, that is not right either. Don't blast me for my concerns. I am so thankful that somewhere around 90,000 doses are being made available for those of us in Sumter County. I will be so much more thankful when my wife and I are assigned appointments. We are patient but believe a level playing field is only fair. |
My neighbor signed up for this this morning. I advised her to call the Sumter County Sheriff's office and they told her that this is legitimate. My neighbor also mentioned that it will accept all zeroes for SSN.
Don't know what to believe any more! |

I logged into this site, but had trouble registering. Got a live help person from GMR. She recommended to say no to the request for insurance info. She said this info can be collected later. Also, she said to put all 1's in the social security number (do not use your real SS#). I followed these instructions and the registration worked! I received an email which verified the registration and said that I would be notified later with a code to be used to schedule the shot (Step 2 on the website). Now the waiting begins....

Believe! Advising her to call sheriff was not needed.............if earlier posts had been read confirming calls to the Sherriff. |
Worked OK for both of us!
We completed the process as requested (including the hateful data being condemned here). Following completion, we received an email with a code and were able to schedule our appointment to obtain COVID-19 shots. Don't know what all this:bigbow: hallaballeau is all about!

Me husband and I got the same alert. Went in to register, but when they asked ss# and health insurance (COVID vaccine is free) we immediately backed out. Too much information was requested and it was a red flag!

THIS IS LEGIT! Yes, I am shouting...in less than an hour we arrived at the open field behind Fresh Market, drove through the tent where vaccine administrators stood, received our vaccinations, waited for fifteen minutes for any reaction, and returned home. The experience was a pleasant one...because we had an appt., we were ushered through w/o any delay. It was so well organized. I am thankful for this group!

I phoned the sheriff’s department and was told that the sight that was posted for Sumter’s sheriff’s office was legitimate and it was ok to enter all zeros in the social security box. I registered myself and several neighbors. Just waiting for a date to receive my vaccination.
