My sales rep said that we were allowed to join any class or actitity with our guest pass. We went to our closest neighborhood pool 3 times and no one was there to check passes either.

BTW . . . we loved the pools, classes and all the rest of the fun we had! :coolsmiley:

You were probably legal due to the lifestyle visit. Still, it's another case of TV not enforcing its own rules not to check for IDs.

But I'm glad you enjoyed yourself! Hope you found TV to be a place you would like.:)

Or go into a rec center, or take a class.

During my visits to The Villages, I was asked several times for my guest pass at the pools and every time I took a class at the rec. centers. And I was happy to show my guest pass!

Our adult pool has a wet T shirt contest at 4pm on Fridays, I do not remember them asking for ID's...After the contest everyone heads to the square for more drinks and dancing, it is a great way to start the weekend.

I have friends who have had their granddaughter live with them for 2 years. They live in a villa close to Mallory. They are glad most of the owners in their village are snowbirds so there has not been a complaint yet. The granddaughter was 2 when she came to live with them.

We need to show our passes for water aerobics quite a lot. I have been carded in regular pools as well.

I used to get asked at least 3 times a week. It now sits on a table next to me propped up in a folder. Problem solved

What makes them so privileged?

I don't know. Funny thing it was given to me by my sister Who stayed for two weeks last Christmas.

Bogie I have no idea what makes my friends special except they are nice people and they saved the child from a very bad situation. They live in fear of some one complaining and they'd have to move.

I am not a resident of The Villages, so I don't have a dog in this fight, but I hope your friends have a plan B, as their four year old granddaughter will need to start school in the next year or two. They must realize that this situation will need to be addressed eventually.

So, let me understand this. Everyone should follow the rules *except your friends*?

Yeah, really nice.
