BTW The masks Publix has their workers wear are inadequate. You can blow a candle out with that mask on. So here is a safe way to stay safe. Make sure Your mask is a good one. Learn to wearing and care for it correctly. Wash your hands and try social distancing. It is Our responsibility to keep ourselves safe.

The store's should post the mask is a requirement and customers will not be checked out without a mask except for a medical condition.

Simple. Why don’t employees speak to the non mask wearers?? They’re afraid of a confrontation escalating and getting shot!! Hey but go ahead and sell those firearms to people without proper background checks.

I realize people forget. I also have. However, a responsible company should have someone posted at the door to remind people if they don’t have a mask they cannot enter. Not very difficult.

Go on Publix website and file a report, it is great you have the Manager's name. They will do something about it. The same thing happened at a Publix in Miami , while I was visiting my Mother, an elder lady refused to wear mask and when it was brought to the attention of the Manager, he dismissed it saying "the lady comes in every day, we know her", WELL the rest of the customer don't know her and are all wearing masks and following the arrow signs on the floor, she should not e an exception. I went online, reported it and the Manager was fired.

I have no problem with individuals who have a valid medical reason for not wearing masks. However, they should have a letter from their doctor. If I had a medical condition requiring I could not wear a mask; I would have a letter from my doctor. It wouldn't be hard to get. Publix is just not going to honor their advertisement of requiring masks. I thought the people of the villages would like to know.

You reported it, nothing was allegedly done so mind your own business. If it bothers you that much, leave! But harrassing the manager isnt the answer

This is how it happens when the governor of the state does not mandate masks. FL is pitiful in so many ways.

The only way to get the people who are not wearing masks to wear them or not come back IS TO CONFRONT THEM - WHERE IS YOUR MASK and that "you're disgusting" look. These are the same people who run stop lights and cheat on taxes, and don't pick up their dog's stuff.

Mask vigilantes are everywhere.

I wear a mask although some don’t wear a mask it’s not my job to be MASK POLICE, I choose non confrontation and stay away from those.

There is no medical condition that precludes wearing a mask if so they would be walking around with oxygen assist.

Its people like you that cause fights and murders to take place in public. All stores were told don't put your life in danger. Every once in a while you'll have someone that doesn't have a mask on. Leave them alone, wear your mask and stay away from them and live for another day.

Where is Archie Bunker and the meathead when you need them? Can you imagine Barney Fife explaining the mask one way or the other? Relax folks! (However as someone mentioned, it does bother me for people to jump in line and follow cars through red lights! 🤨 seriously, some of you are letting the stress of the mask ordeal to destroy your health! And that’s both sides!
