Yes and no. First of all, we have a much larger population, therefore equal raw #s of cases are NOT equal. Secondly, we have a huge backlog of tests that weren't run, so the curve looks steeper than it really is as that data comes in. Still, we can expect things to get worse before they get better

Florida now has 393 confirmed cases and 9 deaths. Two confirmed cases are in Sumter County. Three are in Lake County. Marion is still holding steady at 0.

and no recoveries...yet! At least for the known cases. Many folks have no doubt had it and recovered on their own without requiring serious medical attention or care.

They have stated that, so far, the survival rate is 98 to 99 percent. That has been reported several times.
